چکیده

The southern island of the Philippines is abundant in silicate minerals, including province Lanao del Norte. However, some these resources region are untapped for use as raw materials production various ceramic products industrial, pharmaceutical, and nanotechnology applications. These could include tiles, sanitary ware, dinnerware, insulating bricks, porcelain, membranes coatings. Some explored minerals red clay municipality Linamon, diatomaceous earth Kapatagan black cinder Salvador. It aim this study that evaluated terms their physical chemical properties so will be used optimum application. were determined specific gravities, fired surface colors, Atterberg limits, particle size distribution, thermal properties, morphologies mineralogical compositions. Pellets formed each material at two temperature levels 1000 °C 1200 to evaluate properties. Linamon has a 38.88% cumulative passing 150 µm, Salvador have sizes 96.53% 60.12% 150-micron sieve, respectively. common mineral contents three samples montmorillonite, quartz andesine. Black darkest shade with greasy quasi-submetallic luster. attained highest fusion coverage on platform among materials, which makes it potential supplement or replacement feldspar clay-based triaxial production. secondary content source good flux certain range. Both classified plastic suitable brick production, also feasible pottery few features present application tiles hollow products.
